VFT is a means of infinitely varying the density of foam. This means it can be softened the correct amount in the correct place to distribute the load exactly where it is needed and to give ultimate comfort. No more pressure areas and having to get up and down to maintain good blood flow. VFT also means that unconventional seat and back shapes can be utilised as the comfort is engineered in the foam itself not the shape of the seat and back. The possibilities are endless and several more chairs are in the pipeline.
Variable Foam Technology allows us to soften foam proportionally to where most
pressure is applied. This means that when sat on, the seat moulds to the typical seating shape thereby giving previously unattainable levels of comfort.
Far more sophisticated than other foams, Impressfoam makes it possible to engineer flex zones tailored to suit different parts of the body as opposed to a uniform tension pressure provide by mesh and other foams such as Memory foam or Ergo-sit seat cushioning.
